Diversity & Inclusion
at Ageas

Great people everywhere

You can be yourself here

At Ageas everyone is made to feel welcome and included. Being able to bring your authentic self to work is just part of who we are. Our diversity and inclusion strategy is focused on attracting and retaining brilliant people so that we can continue to be a business where talent, creativity and innovation thrive. This enables us to deliver great solutions for our customers, whose diversity we want to reflect.

Our approach to diversity and inclusion is to include everyone in this work. Our CEO chairs our ‘Momentum’ group, which is made up of senior representatives from each department. These leaders are accountable for the D&I action plan within their department, and are supported by colleagues within their respective areas. Momentum determines our UK D&I targets and the activities that will deliver them.

We have four employee networks, covering gender equality, ethnicity, disability and LGBTQ+ inclusion. These groups are made up of over 400 employees, who lead, support or educate themselves about a particular area of inclusion. The chairs of these employee networks also sit on Momentum.

Flexible and family friendly

We are one of the first insurance companies to offer all our vacancies on a part-time, job-share or other flexible basis. We know that the best person for the job isn’t always available 9am-5pm, five days a week and we embrace that with our flexible working approach.

Supporting our colleagues at key points in their lives is a priority for us. You can read more about our family friendly policies here.

Our Board's commitment

A culture which is inclusive and supports diversity is essential to the long-term success of our business and better enables us to respond to all our customer and wider stakeholder needs.
