How we hire

What you can expect

Recruitment is a two-way process

We want to make sure you're the right fit for us, but it's also really important to us that you feel that you're making the right career choice for you too. We want to see the best of you, so here's the kind of things you can expect during our recruitment process.

You will hear back from us

We understand how difficult searching for a job can be. We make the process easier by ensuring that we respond to every application.

Show us who you are

We’re all different and we invite you to be yourself here. Embrace your personality during the recruitment process – show us the real you.

We're here to help you

We want to give everyone the opportunity to succeed, so if you need help during the recruitment process, just ask.

The Recruitment Roadmap

1. Application

The application process should take about five to ten minutes. We’ll ask you to upload your CV and you can add a covering letter if you wish. Once we’ve received your application, someone in our recruitment team will review your CV, skills and experience and get in touch.

We’ll always contact you to let you know the outcome of your application.

2. Invitation to interview

If we’d like to progress your application, the next steps will depend on the type of role you’ve applied for, but it’s likely we’ll invite you to an interview (or a series of interviews depending on the position) – that might be on the telephone, a video call, in person at one of our offices, or a mix of these.

We aim to get back to you as quickly as possible after your interview(s), so we can keep you up to date with the progress of your application.

4. Decision

We’ll let you know our decision within a few days of your final interview, or let you know when a decision will be made. Regardless of the outcome, you’ll always hear from us. If you’re successful, we’ll talk you through our offer and let you know what happens next. If you’re not, we’ll offer you the opportunity for feedback to help you understand the reasons we came to our decision.

5. Pre-Employment Checks

Because we have a duty of care to our customers and we’re regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA), we need to ensure we’ve verified your identity and you’re eligible to work in the UK. We ask you to provide proof of ID and your address to carry out pre-employment checks, including obtaining employment references, a Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check (formerly known as a Criminal Record Bureau (CRB) check), and a financial record check.
